A photographer & digital artist whose “brushes” are of metal, plastic, glass, and silicon. With a presence in Illinois, New Mexico, and elsewhere.
From research and documentary photography in the lab, to historic preservation & documentation, to creative jaunts, and aerial adventures. . . from the very large, to the very small, I love to explore the world through the lens & inspired digital creations. Much of my commercial photographic work has been primarily in the area of contract aerial photography, and stock photography. My largest aerial photography project was an aerial survey, in the visible spectrum, of the 15 square kilometer LIDAR survey research area at White Sands National Monument in New Mexico (2008-2009); a joint project between The University of Texas at Austin, and White Sands National Monument. That work, and some adjacent aerial projects led to the discovery of quite a few previously unknown features in the area – including ancient mammoth footprints!
I have representation with the Xanadu Gallery in Scottsdale, AZ. And have also conducted educational work with the New Mexico Museum of Space History, Alamogordo Public Schools, and Schools throughout New Mexico.
